I did my Ph.D. on ‘Sports Journalism’ and masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication . Served 13 years in various Universities and institutes teaching media in the capacity of Lecturer to Professor and Head of Journalism and Mass Communication Department . A professional broadcaster for radio (18 years) and television(5 years) served as announcer, compeer, news reader, voice over artist script writer etc. and did many audio –visual production work . Long experience in print media as full time journalist and as freelancer. Looked after PR activities with Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Ministry of Power. Worked as news producer with a 24 hours television channel and various advertising campaigns for electronic media in credit. Currently teaching Journalism and Mass Communication and as casual news reader broadcasting news from Doordarshan (official t.v.channel of India) and All India Radio (official broadcasting station of India ).
Submitted my Ph.D. on ‘Interface of Interpersonal and Mass Communication’. I am a senior faculty in the Institute of Mass Communication Management and Technology, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, ( HR) India with 13 years teaching experience. My specialization is on communication theory and research . I am having masters degree in Journalism and Mass Communication apart from Zoology and Education . Looked after communication strategies for a project working for universalisation of education (Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan) as Communication and Documentation Officer for 1½ years . Actively involved in writing papers,contributing through seminars and workshops alongwith teaching Journalism and Mass Communication at U.G. and P.G. Level
